Over the past 30 years, Samaritan Companies has been involved in developing, purchasing and managing numerous commercial, residential and multi-family communities in the Midwest as well as hotels and self-storage facilities. A company with a wide range of experience, and a strong vision for the future.

The owner of Samaritan Companies' mother no longer felt comfortable or safe in the home that she loved and had spent many happy years in once her spouse passed away. The initial thought was to move her into one of their luxury apartments, but she didn't like the busy hustle and bustle or different aged people in the community. In short, it just didn't feel like home to her.

That's when the concept for Encore 55+ Boutique Apartments was born. A straightforward idea - simply apartments for 55+ aged people who wanted to live around other people their age. A place for people looking for their second act - their second chapter in life. You're not done yet. You don't need assisted living, or nursing home care. You just want someplace to enjoy your time without worrying about the maintenance of a home. Somewhere you can enjoy more things with other people, take more vacations and start a new chapter with the leisure time that you have.
